Privacy Policy

SiteMaster is owned and operated by Master Construction Solutions, Inc.("SiteMaster", "we", "us", or "our"), which provides construction project management software through our website at sitemaster.work, the SiteMaster web dashboard, and the SiteMaster mobile apps (listed as SMW on Google Play and SiteMaster Proon the App Store) (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy applies to the web dashboard and the mobile apps, and explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including how to delete your account.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, and profile photo you provide when creating or editing your account.
• SMS consent information: if you choose to receive text messages from us, we record your mobile phone number, the date and method of your consent, and your opt-in or opt-out status.
• Company & project data: project details, work logs, photos, punch lists, RFIs, change orders, safety records, subcontractor and personnel information entered by you or your company into the Service.
• Location data: if you enable location services on the mobile app, we may collect approximate or precise location to support job-site check-ins, delivery tracking, and offline map/plan downloads.
• Device & usage data: IP address, device type, operating system, app version, and general usage/analytics data to help us maintain and improve the Service.
• Payment data: if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing information is processed by our third-party payment processor — we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• To authenticate your account and enforce role-based permissions within your company.
• To send transactional notifications by email, in-app message, and — with your consent — SMS text message (e.g. approvals, invites, task assignments, schedule changes, safety alerts, payment holds).
• To respond to support requests and inquiries you submit to us, including by text message where you have consented to be contacted that way.
• To communicate service updates.
• To monitor, secure, and improve the performance and reliability of the Service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Your company / project team: data you enter is visible to other users within your company account and, where applicable, to general contractors or subcontractors you are connected with on a shared project, according to their role permissions.
• Service providers: hosting (Supabase), cloud storage, email delivery, SMS delivery (Twilio), and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us and may not use it for their own marketing purposes.
• Legal requirements: if required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the sharing categories above and will not be shared with any third parties, except our SMS delivery provider solely to deliver messages you requested.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Project and company records (e.g. work logs, financials, safety records) may be retained by your company/account administrator even after an individual user account is deleted, since this data belongs to the company's business records, not to any single user.

5. Your Choices & Account Deletion

You can update your name, phone number, and profile photo at any time from the Edit Profile screen in the web dashboard or mobile app.

You may permanently delete your personal account and login credentials at any time from Edit Profile → Delete Accountin the web dashboard or mobile app. This removes your user login and personal profile information. Business records you contributed while part of a company (projects, work logs, financials, safety records, etc.) remain with that company as part of its business records and are not deleted, since other team members rely on that data. If you are the sole Owner of a subcontractor company, you must assign another teammate as Owner before you can delete your account, so the company's data and team remain accessible.

6. SMS / Text Messaging

With your express consent, we send SMS text messages related to your account and projects — such as task assignments, schedule changes, approval requests, and time-sensitive job-site alerts — as well as replies to inquiries you submit through our website. Full program terms: SMS Terms of Service.

• How you opt in. We only send text messages to users who have affirmatively opted in. Consent is collected through a separate, unchecked consent checkbox presented during account registration in the SiteMaster web dashboard and mobile apps, and through an equivalent checkbox on the contact form at sitemaster.work. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of creating an account, purchasing, or using the Service.
• Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your project activity and the notification settings you choose.
• Costs. Message and data rates may apply. These are charged by your mobile carrier, not by us.
• How you opt out. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a single confirmation message, after which we will send no further texts to that number. You may also turn off SMS notifications from within the app at any time, or contact us at support@sitemaster.work. Reply HELP to any message, or email support@sitemaster.work, for assistance.
• No sharing of SMS data. SMS opt-in consent and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will not be shared with, sold to, or otherwise disclosed to any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of transmitting the messages you have requested.
• Supported carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and row-level database security — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use by construction professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
