Site Master is owned and operated by Master Construction Solutions, Inc./Master Renovations("Site Master", "we", "us", or "our"), which provides construction project management software through our website at sitemaster.work and our mobile applications — including SMW on Google Play (developer name MasterSolutionsDeveloper) and SiteMaster Pro on the Apple App Store (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy applies to the SMW and SiteMaster Pro mobile apps and the Site Master web dashboard, and explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including how to delete your account.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, and profile photo you provide when creating or editing your account.
• Company & project data: project details, work logs, photos, punch lists, RFIs, change orders, safety records, subcontractor and personnel information entered by you or your company into the Service.
• Location data: if you enable location services on the mobile app, we may collect approximate or precise location to support job-site check-ins, delivery tracking, and offline map/plan downloads.
• Device & usage data: IP address, device type, operating system, app version, and general usage/analytics data to help us maintain and improve the Service.
• Payment data: if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing information is processed by our third-party payment processor — we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• To authenticate your account and enforce role-based permissions within your company.
• To send transactional notifications (e.g. approvals, invites, safety alerts, payment holds).
• To respond to support requests and communicate service updates.
• To monitor, secure, and improve the performance and reliability of the Service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Your company / project team: data you enter is visible to other users within your company account and, where applicable, to general contractors or subcontractors you are connected with on a shared project, according to their role permissions.
• Service providers: hosting (Supabase), cloud storage, email delivery, and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements: if required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Project and company records (e.g. work logs, financials, safety records) may be retained by your company/account administrator even after an individual user account is deleted, since this data belongs to the company's business records, not to any single user.

5. Your Choices & Account Deletion

You can update your name, phone number, and profile photo at any time from the Edit Profile screen in the web dashboard or mobile app.

You may permanently delete your personal account and login credentials at any time from Edit Profile → Delete Account in the web dashboard or mobile app. This removes your user login and personal profile information. Business records you contributed while part of a company (projects, work logs, financials, safety records, etc.) remain with that company as part of its business records and are not deleted, since other team members rely on that data. If you are the sole Owner of a subcontractor company, you must assign another teammate as Owner before you can delete your account, so the company's data and team remain accessible.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and row-level database security — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use by construction professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
